His people, walks, other people, other dogs, his friend Moko
Sleeping downstairs and being left behind
His stuffed chef-dog
All and any except carrots
The gables and Wilkins walk
He knows his basic commands a few cute tricks but I'm most proud of his 'leave it'. It works for everything except a stick. :P
I had been looking for a puppy for a little while since Blue passed away. Finally an ad came up on kijiji for two pups needing a home. We drove three hours away to pick up one of the pups. We ended up picking the male, who was very cuddly.
I don't know his breeds. The owners said he is a labrador X german shepherd but I see something more in there. I won't make any official guesses on his breeds until he is older. If you have any guesses or ideas please share! We're thinking rottie or rhodesian ridgeback
I luffs you!

When we got Blue (the dog before Sam) we stopped off at an Arby's on the way home. We ate outside near a little stream under some trees, a beautiful spot. Blue had fun. So when we were one our way home with Sam we spotted the same Arby's. We stopped in for lunch and ate outside. He loved it just as Blue did, and so it began.....again

I haven't been on here is fur-ever! I had almost forgotten about my diary-blog thing all together!
Last time I wrote I was about to go camping! It was tonnes of fun. It was a little scary at first, I like living inside but ever since then I don't mind being outside as much. I saw some squirrels and some chipmunks but that's it, no wolf. It was tonnes of fun though. My sis (hooman) was not pleased that the campground that they went to was so - how did she put it- "anti-dog" or not "dog friendly". She said next time we might go to the campground that has a dog park!! I sure hope that we can.
Since then a lot has happened. I got went to the vet and lost my uh my man-hood, I turned one year old, my friend Moko passed away and I am really big and smart now! I made a new friend named Toby, he's a German Shepherd mix and he is lots of fun. Moko's mommy got a new dog named Sonny. I've only met him once but I hope that I'll get to see him again soon!
Today I went swimming and it was lots and lots of fun. I'm really tired now *yawn* so I'm just going to go to sleep..... ZZZzzz

So they other day we went on my favourite trail! I hate walking to that trail but I hate the car too so walking is my only choice, since my silly human won't carry me. Anyways my sis(human) says that it used to be Blue's favourite trail too. It goes through some woods and then eventually the trail meets up alongside a stream. That stream eventually leads to a beach.
So we went there and I was actually swimming! I would run out to try and catch a rock or to swim out the fallen tree and it was lots of fun. I used to be afraid of water but now I'm not because it's lots of fun.
Then when I got home I got a bath, which I don't mind too much. I never put up a fuss about that. Baths aren't bad. Baths=treats which = good.
But yesterday they made me get into the car. I hate the car, it makes me feel yucky. But they took be to the nice guy that they call the vet. He is very nice and gives me a bone and a tennis ball whenever I go there. He poked and touched me, gave me some yellow stuff that was yummy and then stuck a few needles in me (at least that's what my Mommy said, I didn't feel a thing!). But then we had to go back into the car after. I was sick when we got home but then I felt better. Now we are going camping and I just can't wait! My sis says that we will go for walks through the trails and I'll even see wild animals and stuff. Like living outside all the time! Maybe I'll even see a wolf!!!11!!11one!1one!
I'll tell you all about it when I come back!!!!!

Yesterday when it stopped raining my Sis (aka human that attaches leash to me for walk), got my leash out and so we went out into the front yard and waited for like ever for something. We practiced some obedience while we waited for this...something. Then I heard a bike(aka contraption humans ride on) coming up so I looked and there was Moko's Mom (aka human with crazy fast dog) and Moko (Border Collie dog that is crazy fast) coming up right to the house! Moko's Mom hid her bike in the garage(room full of junk) and then we set out for the trail! When we got there my Sis let me off leash just like Moko's Mom let Moko off! It was lots of fun. I tried to keep up with Moko and when he disappeared I ran back to the humans and tried to show Moko's Mom how high I could jump but she kept pushing me down...maybe humans don't like it when you jump on them.....naaah! Then Moko would come back so I would go and chase them again. As we were walking two giant dogs started barking at us from their backyards! Sis said that they were Great Danes! All I know is that they were big. We kept going and after passing by a park with a bunch of kids, that I wasn't aloud to go and see, we walked along more trail and there was water next to us. Sis said that I better not fall in the river (guess the water is called a river...) or else. So I just followed Moko, he said something about swimming and beach and sticks. I didn't know what he meant so I kept going on chasing him. Next thing I new the path stopped and we were looking at a whole lotta water. By the way I am (was) afraid of water. Moko's Mom picked up a stick (aka fun chewing things) and threw it in the water. I thought that was kind of mean of her but then Moko went and swam after it! I tried to chase him again and I was in the water but I just wanted to get to Moko. Every time Moko went to get the stick I tried to follow him. I only actually swam once (and I did it without dying) but I kept going in the water and the humans seemed happy about it. I guess water isn't so bad. I was tired on our way back but I pretended to not be so Moko didn't laugh, because I don't think that dog ever gets tired! We made it back home(aka my place that holds humans, beds, food and toys) and I didn't want them to leave either but after Moko's Mom got her bike they left me at my house. I was a little sad but I sure was happy to get some sleep (aka thing that lets you feel better and dream).
