Back Online!

After being offline for almost a year now, Mom is back on Dogster and boy, do I have some news to tell you! Right now I'm taking classes to become a Therapy Dog so that I can go into hospitals and nursing homes and such and "entertain the troops"! Who wouldn't want an excuse to be petted and get lots of attention???

We also got a new cat in October after Satin suddenly passed away. His name is Quinn and boy, does he have a BIG mouth! Marcellas, our other cat, likes him okay and knows that Quinn's big mouth sometimes gets both of them extra treats, so I guess having the "New Kid" around doesn't hurt ;) hee, hee

Mom is also letting me do some Agility in the backyard since she bought some equipment for Olivia to use, as she's pretty good in her Agility class. I'm getting used to going into the tunnel but not sure if I want to go ALL the way through each time or not...it's a longgggggg tunnel! LOL

Anyway, that's a quick update on how I'm going and how wonderful my life is going :)

Wha'ts That NOISE???

I hate loud noises! July 4th is too loud for me, so I'm staying close to Mom and in the house where it's MUCH quieter than outside! Thunderstorms are bad enough, but fireworks??? OMG!!! This is when I REALLY wish I was deaf :P LOL

New Pool and Dog Park

Today, I went to a new dog park out in Token Creek and it was GREAT! We took a really long walk around the outside trail of the park, then went along the other smaller trails and really got the feel of a new place. The ride there was a lot of fun, too, as I was looking down the road while up on the armrest between Mom and Dad.

Also, Mom and Dad brought home a small pool that they filled with water. Olivia and Simon only like to drink out of it, but I have put all of my feet in there to cool them off and drank some of that refreshing water. It'll be great to cool off on hot days.

Playtime

I'm finally feeling comfortable enough to play with Simon, who has a lot of fun energy! We are like two little kids teasing each other. I'm glad to have someone who will play with me and allow me to be a big goofball at times :)

I LOVE WATER!!!

Mom took Simon, Olivia and I to the dog park two days in a row and I loved it! It had rained so much that part of the trail in the woods is now a pond and I just HAD to jump in and enjoy it! Oh my gosh, the water is FABULOUS! Even Simon jumped in and got all muddy with me! We're really hitting it off well! Olivia isn't the water type, so she just stayed on more solid ground with Mom while Simon and I went back and forth in the water. Maybe one day Olivia will jump in and get wet with Simon and me.

I Love The Dog Park!

Today I got to visit the Sun Prairie Dog Park and I LOVED it!!! There was lots of ground to cover, including a few mud holes that I HAD to jump into. I think Simon, Olivia and I enjoyed walking around the park, rolling on the grass to get all earthy. I even saw Olivia get into the mud hole too, and I heard she doesn't normally do this so maybe I'm rubbing off on her.

There were a few dogs that we came upon while walking around that seemed friendly enough. I really wasn't in the mood to play with any of them, but I know we'll be back at the park again and maybe I'll find someone to play with then. I did try to play with Simon and Olivia, but they aren't sooo into me yet. I know they will come around as I'm a cool girl and Simon LOVES to play ;)
