a baby for Christmas

Our house is a busy place, after many years and tears it seems momma and daddy will be bringing a new baby girl home after the first of the year. I will be responsible for licks and hugs and snuggles to but I WILL NOT DEAL WITH DIAPERS! I'm to much of a princess. Momma is worried that I will feel left out, I am the baby of the house now you know. But momma decided that it will be one more to love me and grow up with so she is so glad to have me along for this experience. Sometimes momma is sad because it is just her and daddy. They have a baby in heaven and had an adoption fail so sometimes the thought of losing another baby is just to difficult. That is were I come in....Bette Davis is the breathing example of what a HEART is. Full of love and forgiveness, loyalty and trust. I have other fur sisters but I am very very special to my momma. Changes are what life is all about and no matter what momma knows I will be there for her. I may only be 1 but I have proven to be a huge support in the past and God bless all the other chihuahua's out there, so little with such a big job.

Less than three weeks!

Wow, momma has informed me that we will only be in our house another 3 weeks, Ive been here almost my whole life!

Daddy's grandpa and grandma are in heaven now and my mom and dad have bought their old house. Compared to our house now the new one is huge, nearly four times as big...im gonna have a larger area to rule! The house has not been taken good care of for a long while and has a GROOVY decore with shag carpet and lots of avacado and orange....it doesn't bother me a bit but mom says its ugly and very stinky so they are tearing out the innerds of the new house. I LOVE IT THERE....I run around and skip my nap to make sure they are properly supervised and I don't miss a thing. The only thing I don't like is I get lots of baths cuz Im stinky when I get home, and they don't take me on certain days, momma is afraid that when they are tearing up or moving the big stuff I will be hurt. I bolt out the door and try to make it impossible for them to leave without me but they FOOL me by giving me a chewy in my bed and then sneaking away.

I went along today, Daddy was removing the mirror tiles, like I said its pretty groovy, off the bedroom wall and I saw myself! I didn't know it was me so I barked and kicked my back feet, mom and dad laughed. Mom was pulling out carpet and her back popped, she looked like she was going to cry...dad helped her stand up straight and she had to use MY HEATING PAD....she wasn't happy because it is nearly 100 degrees here already, she felt like she was roasting! I was on her lap and she told me that my first birthday will be in the new house and that someday I will have my babies there too! what is she talking about! I am the baby!

Needless to say my family is working hard but are looking forward to new and happy memories in our "new" house!

whooowee, what a day...

I got mom up EXTRA early today, she was thrilled let me tell ya....

My momma is a photographer and she is going to take some shots of whitetail buck this afternoon and I get to go along, but of course!!! I am very excited cuz daddy is going to be with us too!

We are going to be buzy this week, we close on our new house and will be working on moving. I will supervise in my sweet little way and help mom stay mentally stable, or at least in the realm of stable! haha

Me and mom cannot get over how much fun we are having seeing all of the really cool members!

Mom and dad had a bad day yesterday....we are moving and there is just tooo much drama involved with selling our home and packing up our stuff, I know that I don't understand it all but I have been right beside momma this entire time and give her a well needed kiss or laugh when she needs it. She holds me tight and does my favorite thing in the world...she blows on my tummy....aaaahhhhh, it seems like heaven to me!!

what would they do without me anyway? hahahah! im perfection unless you want to bring up piddle puddles and "bette bundles". I kinda like to leave those in places I shouldn';t at times.

Im a new girl in town so let me introduce myself....

My name is Bette Shea Davis, after the actress and my mommy's God Daughter. I live with my parents and my "sister's" Daisy and Ruby, they are basset hounds and they are really nice to me. There is a stupid cat named Pip here too...he only likes my Dad.

My parents are sooo lucky to have me, I was adopted from a family whose little boy couldn't take good care of me. I was only 12 ounces at 4 months old when my mom brought me home. She carried me in a pouch to keep me from being stepped on and we fell in love with each other. My parents cannot have children because Mom was sick and adoption just didnt work out, so here I am to lavish love and affection on. I think they need me more than I need them, haha!

Don't be fooled into thinking I am a home body...oh no, I visit hospitals and nursing homes and travel everywhere with my folks and I have a wonderful reception where ever I go. My mommy sews my dresses for me and I am decked out in a fabulous outfit every day.
