Arrival Story:
We got little Pele from the Milo Foundation here in Berkeley. Down on 4th St. one weekend, our friend Cathy, who volunteers for Milo, told us she'd found our dog! Poor guy was in a corral with a humpy Lhasa Apso named Hercules. Luckily, Hercules was more interested in their fellow corral-mate, a wire-haired terrier named Freddy. After a short introduction, and some maneuvering around another interested party, Pips came home right with us! Even though we were told he wasn't housetrained, he was! and even though he didn't know any tricks when we got him, we found he was a quick learner. And now we still can't believe our luck we have such a sweet little friend.

Bio:
Found running around near MacArthur Blvd, Oakland. Saved from the Oakland shelter, who would have euthanized him.
