Arrival Story:
Hooch was born in a puppy mill and sold at a pet store. When he was rescued, he was sitting in a disgusting cage with fur missing from his face. After several months of biopsies and treatment, he finally grew the fur on his face back. Thankfully he was rescued by a wonderful woman in Carson City, and he spent most of his first two years with her playing happily and having a good life. My family and I adopted him from her so she had space and time to continue rescuing dogs and so he could be in a home where he gets lots of attention without having to compete with lots of other dogs. He has been lucky that, despite a rough start in life, he has had a great life so far!

He is a bit atypical for a corgi. He is shorter and a bit stockier than a normal corgi, and his face looks just a little different than a usual corgi. This is most likely because of the odd genetics from being born in a puppy mill... Regardless, he is completely adorable!
