I love attention & when my mommy & daddy laugh at me! I love playing with mom & dad! I growl & bark at them, & jump around when they have one of my toys.

Cats, when mommy & daddy leave me at home, getting a bath or my eyes cleaned. Getting into trouble. grrrrrr
Favorite Toy:
Playing in the water when mom or dad tries to water the yard! My "Mini Orca," rope bone, & Nylabone chew toys. Mommy's shoes, even though I know I'm not supposed to.
Favorite Food:
Zukes Mini Natural treats, greenies, ziggies, old mother hubbard cookies!!!
Favorite Walk:
The dog park & anywhere my mom & dad will take me, as long as I get to go!!!
Best Tricks:
I loves to stand on my hind legs & dance. I hop when I'm excited. I can sit on command now.
Arrival Story:
My name is Bodie & I am a rescue from Priceless Pets.com out of Chino Hills, CA. My new forever family found me through a friend who recommended them. I was the very first dog they went to meet. It was love right from the start! My gotcha day is 5-30-09. I had no idea that I was going home with the nice couple who lavished attention on me at adoption day at Petsmart! The first thing they did when they got me home was give me my new name! I am being spoiled rotten & I love it! Mommy & daddy give me tons of praise, a good forever home, & are taking me to lots of cool places like to the dog park (see my pic below left)!
I am now happy, & well adjusted in spite of having a rough time for a while. I am eating yummy dog food & treats. I am starting to fill out, & no longer look skinny. Mom says I am a healthy weight now. I play games with them, have several toys, go for walks on a leash, am learning that all men & boys won't treat me badly, & am very well behaved in spite of what I have been through. No one would know by looking at me that I was terrified of men & boys, & that I refused to be coaxed out of a crate for days.
Bio:
My original name was given to me by Priceless Pets...Miracle. I was found dirty, skinny, & more dead than alive near dairy farms in Chino. They took me to their rescue center in Chino Hills, but I ran away. I was gone for 2 days & nights in coyote country. The nice people there thought they'd never see me again, but I turned up hungry & tired in their driveway. I stayed in a crate for 4 days. I was terrified to come out, no matter how hard they tried to coax me. I have come along way from the day I was rescued.

Mommy decided because summer has returned to give me a hair cut. I look so different from when they first got me! But it is much cooler. We are expecting triple digit temperatures by the weekend. Daddy says he's looking forward to fall & cooler weather, but that's months away. I won't mind either! It's not fun wearing a fur coat in summer!

My family took me to the 1st Annual Pet Expo Saturday Aug 22nd. It was a pretty cool event even though it turned out to be a pretty hot day temperature wise. It made it into the 90's & we were trying to stay in the shade as much as possible. Mommy kept checking my feet to make sure they weren't getting burned by the pavement. They also took me to Feed & Fuel to cool me off on the soft sod they provided. There was also a nice big fan with a mister. Did that ever feel nice! We watched the Dock Dogs...long distance jumpers. The dogs would jump after a toy into a big pool of water. I like water, but I like to have my feet on the ground! There were lots of vendors, pet rescue groups (which reminded me where I came from), & other cool things too.
My sister took my newest Dogster portrait while we were there. I think it came out pretty good! Thanks Megan!
We also got to see Cesar Milan! He was the guest of honor & main speaker for the day. He was very cool! After that, the pavement was too hot on my feet, & we were all tired & hungry so we left. Mommy says she would have liked it better if it were held in a nice grassy park with more shade trees so I wouldn't have to walk around on the hot pavement or be carried.
