Arrival Story:
I was abandoned as a pup. A very sweet elderly couple took me in and gave me a loving,happy home.They named me Dog, I'm not sure why. Last October my human Mom passed away.Dad and I were very sad but we were glad we had each other. Mom and Dad were friends with a couple that lived across the slough from us. They really helped take care of me and Dad while Mom was in the hospital and after Mom passed away too. Well Dad doesn't have any family here so he wanted to move back to Georgia to be close to his brothers and sisters. Dad couldn't take me with him to his new home.We were both very sad about that but I told Dad it was OK,he needed to do what was best for him. The couple that helped care for us told Dad that they would love to add me to their family. Dad was glad to know that I was going to be with a very loving family. I have been here about a week now and I love it ! My new Mom and Dad told me that they love me very very much and this would be my forever home.I told them that I love them too and they would be my forever Mom and Dad ! We are all so happy together,it's a great life !
