Arrival Story:
Bessie has been at the shelter for a few months now. She had one owner all her life. The owner was an elderly woman who had to be placed into a nursing home leaving Bessie homeless herself. She is a wonderful gal and will make a great companion for a family with older children. She likes other dogs and does not seem to mind cats either.
