Thanks for thinking of me!
Here are the rules:
Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Dogs who are tagged, need to post in their Diary the rules & their 7 pawsome facts. Then choose 7 dogs to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to bark them a pmail that they have been tagged and to read your Diary, or, send them a fun Rosette announcing they've been Tagged!
Here are 7 fun facts about me-Sheena
1. I am the Princess of the House...would be Queen if mom would move out!
2. I am afraid of other dogs and show my fear by growling and biting.
3. I have been to a doggy psychologist! (I say mom is the nut for even thinking that would work)!!!
4. I have my dad wrapped around my paws.
5. I get to go to work with mom when kids aren't in school.
6. Dad just bought me my very own K9 Kastle!! Mine, mine, all mine!
7. I was the co-star of the Tails of the Tundra Tails on the Trails 2006 T-Shirt!
That's it! A few facts about me. I look forward to reading about some of my pawriffic pals!

It seems my family has grown exponentially since I first got here. Being a "testy" dog, it has been hard on me, but I understand that every dog deserves a chance so I tolerate it. Overall, the dogs that mom and dad have rescued are really pretty good (don't dare tell them I said so, it will ruin my Tony Soprano image)! I even like the little brat that stole my spot on the bed last night. I could have growled and snarled at him, but I got thinking....I have plenty of meat on my bones and the little guy is just skin over a skeleton, so he deserved the 15 inch mattress and heck, I still had my three inch memory foam doggy bed! See, I am not as nasty as I like my siblings to believe!

Oh, where to begin...
Once upon a time, I was an ordinary Siberian. Then my parents adopted a new siberian for me to play with, his name was Dakota. One day, when I was feeling a bit full of myself (okay, that is everyday), anyway, I decided to pick up Dakota's leash and walk him around our new deck. Our mom thought this was cute....remember cute, not pushy on my part, so she took a picture.
That picture changed my life. I am a star now! Yes, a SIBERIAN STAR! That picture has appeared in books, on the Tails of the Tundra Siberian Husky Rescue Calendar and on the 2006 Tails on the Trails t-shirts, sweatshirts and chairs!
Being a star hasn't changed me a bit. I still live with the locals, boss my brother Dakota around and lick my own butt.
PS. Please send fan mail!

Today is my one year anniversary with my forever family! It seems like only yesterday when I first sniffed this lawn, snuggled into "my" recliner and accidently tasted the kitty's!
A lot has changed in a year....my sister, Shelby, passed away. I still miss her, but mom and dad keep me busy with a new brother and a new sister (if you are interested in either I am willing to trade them for a pig ear....shhhh, don't let mom or dad know I said that!) My brother, Dakota, is great actually. My sister, Shelcy...not so great, but mom says she is still a puppy. We'll see about that, I think she is just a pain in the tush!
I am glad to have found my forever home, even if Shelcy is here! We do a lot of fun stuff....furniture olympics, kill the stuffed animal and skijoring are my favorites. Okay, not really skijoring, but I wrote that to make mom happy. I really just like to chase the rope attached to my mom and pounce on her skis when she takes me skiing, but she smiles so I guess she likes it too!
I have come a long way in the past year. I have trained my parents to sleep in the upstairs Siberian bed with me (used to be the "master" bed, whatever that means) , get me fresh pig ears weekly, to wake up ten minutes early to give me my share of belly rubs daily and I have trained them to cater to my every need. It has been a tough year as you can tell.
A year and one day ago, life wasn't this fabulous....thank goodness for forever homes with moms and dads like mine!!!
All I want for Christmas is for every dog to know the joys of a forever home.

Okay, just when I thought it couldn't get worse....first playdates and now, a new sister!
See mom and dad saved the life, literally, of another Siberian Husky. She was going to be PTS, but mom felt bad for her and picked her up from a really bad place. She is extremely pretty-black and white with bright blue eyes, not as pretty as me though. They call her Shelcy, in honor of their first Siberian-Shelby. I was thinking more along the lines of Sheeba, in honor of their second Siberian....me!
I am a pretty jealous girl, so this is not fun for me. I have to share my mom, dad and even brother with this girl! It's not fair. I want them all to myself! Mine, mine, mine! The good thing is that my mom says that she is still looking for Shelcy's original owners...so maybe if I pray really hard she will be claimed! If not, I will survive, I guess.
Wish me luck!

I don't know what is so great about Play Dates! They certainly are not fun! Today, my Aunt Donna brought over her Chow/Lab mix, Toby, to play with me and my brother Dakota. (Who ever said that we needed other dogs to play with??) Well, it was a disaster......
The boys, Dakota and Toby, peed all over the yard...how disgusting! Then Toby ignored me. So I got right in his face-- talking and growling and stuff and ...he ignored me! Imagine that- the darn dog ignored me! I told mom that I think he is deaf and blind, but she didn't believe me. Because I kept trying to get his attention, by growling, snarling and jumping....mom segregated me. Yeah, I was persecuted because that dog, Toby, is deaf and blind!
For the rest of the day, Dakota a.k.a. "trader brother", played with the deaf and blind dog called Toby while I plotted. They will pay...stay tuned for the next entry....

On Sunday, May 29, 2005, I got a new brother. It was a very special day. A nice woman named Brenda from the Tails of the Tundra Siberian Husky rescue group came to my house with five Siberian Huskies in need of homes. I got to play and chase all of the dogs for four and a half hours! I was so tired that night...wow! It was a great day for me...not so much for some of the other dogs because my mom said I was a bully. I am not sure what a bully is, but I don't think it is so great. Mom said I was a bit embarrassing (again, I don't know what exactly that means, but it doesn't sound good).
Anyway, I selected Dakota. He is about four years old and very well mannered. He is a really nice brother for me. Becausee I have some socialization issues, he has been helping me understand how to play and interact in a good way. When I get in his face and wont let up, he grabs me by the neck and rolls me over! I am a slow learner mom says, but I will get it eventually.
Thank you Brenda and all the people that were hanging around holding howling Huskies on that beautiful May day! I was depressed after my sister, Shelby, passed on, but Dakota is making it all better!
