Zeke was in the local animal control having been found as a stray wandering the streets in the middle of winter. He was underweight, had worms, and was generally a mess. We were looking for a playmate for our first dog, Nico. She picked Zeke out of the crowd of lost and abandoned dogs, and she picked a winner! Zeke has a happy-go-lucky personality, always ready to shake a hand or steal a kiss.

Okay, so have you ever chased a turkey? Literally, there are these turkey's in my yard sometimes. So last weekend I ran out the door and then down the road to a neighbor's farm. They had chickens!!! Chickens look a lot like turkeys but they were a lot easier to catch. Now I'm in BIG trouble. I had to spend time in doggie jail until mom & dad paid the farmer for his chickens. I'm home now, but no more running down the road and no more chasing chickens.
