Arrival Story:
Gus was the first German Shepherd Dog my husband (then an ardent dog hater) ever had the pleasure of knowing. My love and association with GSD's went back to age 3yrs, and there has never been any other breed of dog in my life. Gus came into our family at 8 weeks old to be the family dog for my 4 children to love and grow up with, and as I said before into an environment with an ardent dog hater who in those days declared "the only good dog is a dead one." My faith in the intelligence and devotion of the breed was richly rewarded when this dear little puppy rapidly won the heart of his master and turned him into one of the greatest fans and lovers of the GSD breed. Gus I salute you.

Bio:
Gus was typical of his breed in every way. He was handsome, intelligent, gentle, loved babies and little old ladies, was totally devoted to his family and would have protected us from harm with his very life if the occasion had ever arisen.
