Arrival Story:
I found Daisy at the Sacramento pound I noticed alot of peaple rushing up to her cage to see her then walking away fast. When I walked up I could see why. She stunk real bad and her skin was flaky, red and her ears were red and swollen. She also was very obese. The papers on her said to adopt only to a rescue. She only had a few days left till she was to be put down. I asked them if I could check her out. When I took her out on a leash she was wonderful. She was friendly and gentle. She allowed me ruff her up, squeeze her paws and I jumped up and down all around her. I felt whoever gave her up must be crazy. I told the pound that I would work with my vet to help her and I had dealt with dogs with skin conditions in the past. one hour later I headed home with a wonderful dog named Daisy. She had a yeast infection in her ears and all over her body. In a couple months on a corn free diet and with medicine for her ears she healed up. She is great with my kids and almost the perfect dog except for her intense craving for food at all times.
