Friday, Sept. 2 wuz my 5th Birfday, an' my reel brudder MacKenzie too! Den Sunday, Sept. 4 wuz Rica's 5th Birfday too! Mom cided to celybrate all da birfdays togedder on Sunday. Weeze gots sum reely kewl sheep toys dat squeak an' go "baaa baaa baaa". We lubs da new toys an' speshally Rica! Mom also gots us sum Frosty Paws an' I tinks dat my brudder MacKenzie lubbed da Frosty Paws more dan da toys, but Rica lubs both! We all lubs Frosty Paws! Last, we gots some Denta Bones ... yummy! Den Mom an' all us pooches went outside an' gots to lay aroun' in da nice warm sun an' roll aroun' in da grass. Yep, we now habs some grass since we finally gots outta da drought. Best ob all, it wuz not dat reely hot sun, an wuz so nice.

Weeze all slept berry good cuz weeze wuz tired from all da playin wit da new toys an all da treaties weeze had an' da fresh air.

Wuz da bestest birfday eber for all ob us!

Gotta go, Mom sez she has more Frosty Paws for us! Slurp!!

Summer Timeb in Da Bluegrass

Hellroo Eberyone!

Welp, iz been a berry long hot an' dry summer! Weeze been berry busy too. Mom has da house for sale, she sez we needs to downsize (whateber dat means).

An' iz ben so dry and hot dat da grass iz all bwown an' not blue or green. Wen weeze walks on da grass it has a krunchy sound to it. It does kinda remind me ob Floreeda dough. Ben so hot here dat weeze stays in da house in da cool air, an' only go out wen weeze has to potty. Weeze had some rain, but still not enuff. At least now da temps is a little cooler.

Me an' my sisser, Rica, take turns going to da nursing home bisits, and we hab een goin' to a new one too. Da new one habs many nice peeple an' dey lubs to pet us. My sisser, Rica, finally jumped on da bed ub dis one guy dat wuz our Angel sisser Greta's faborite. Dis guy wuz so happy dat Rica wanted to be wit him. She's a good sisser an' has really learned a lot in da only 5 monts she's ben here.

I do hab some sad news, da lady named Ruby dat wuz my faborite person at da nursing home is now in Heaven. Wen Mom told me, I just kwied and kwied. It won't be da same witout Ruby. I really lubbed her lots!

An' now, my brudder, MacKenzie, iz home wit us cuz da lady dat 'dopted him sez she canna keep him no more, dat he has bad sepration xiety (whateber dat means). So my Mom told her weeze would bring him home wit us, an' Mom will work wit him an help him get ober dis so he can find da right foreber home. Mom did say dat ip he starts getting bounced around, den she will 'dopt him. She says it makes her berry sad wen dat happens. She said she would 'dopt him now, but dat we may be gettin' anudder sisser ip she doesn't do good wit her racing. She's not started yet, but will be soon. Dis is da Garbo dat we saw wen weeze was at Jacksonville. Mom says dat 5 hounds would be a lot to feed and take care of wen one or more might get sick. Anyway, der are now four ob us here for da time being. I wuz glad to see my brudder again an' he's glad to see me and Rica too. He's a berry good boy, jus confused right now.

Mom iz going to take my brudder MacKenzie to da nursing home today cuz she donna want to leabes him here in case he gets into da trouble. I tinks he will hab doze peeple at da nursing home in lub wit him.

Gotta go an' teach my brudder how to play wit da toys. He donna node how.

Mother's Day

I'm baaack! I node iz been long timeb cents I writes in da diary, but been anudder buzy monts!

Furst, I wisht all da dog Moms a Happy Mudder's Day an' all da hoomin Moms too. I wisht my fur Mom wuz steel hear, but she went to da Rainbow Bridge almos' 6 monts ago, an' I do miss her jus' like my hoomin Mom misses her Mom too. I tank my fur Mom for gibing me da gipt ob life, and I tank my hoomin Mom for gibing me my foreber homeb! I lubs dem bot bery much! An' I tanks doG ebery day for dem!

Eber cents weeze got back from getten my new sissie, Rica, Mom has been bery buzy wit hound-sitting an' now iz fostering anudder hound. Sometimebs our house door iz likes a rebolbing door, ip youse node wat I mean! Iz fun dough to hab udder hounds to play wit an' speshally to teached da new ones "da ropes" ob being in a new homeb. Der are timebs wen dese hounds can bee pushy, but I jus' put dem in der place! I am good helper to Mom, an' I teached dem how to play wit stuffies an' how to go up da stairs. Dey looks up to me as der hero!

I likes my new sissie, Rica lots, an' weeze ony 2 days apart but wit difren't mudder an' fadder ... weeze member! Oh, an' best news iz dat my brudder, MacKenzie gots dopted by one ob my Mom's frends an' so he iz close by an' weeze can see each udder ebery now and den! Ain't life grand!

Gotta go an' teached da new hound to trow stuffies an' squeak da heck outta dem!
