Yesterday was mommy's birthday and she's really old. 23! I can't even imagine that, I tried to put it into doggie years but I don't think I can count that high. I have to say that I enjoy birthdays, she took me to the dog park for the first time today. And there, across the grass I saw her...the most beautiful pooch I've ever laid eyes on. Her name is Gracie, and she's an English Spaniel with the softest fur and sweetest face, and she's fun - not afraid to play and rough house just because she's gorgeous. I hope I'll see her again soon, like tomorrow.
I also met Sue, who's 2 years old and comes to the dog park everyday, we got along really well and I'm going to play with her again this week. The big dogs on the other side of the fence looked fun but then I got a little scared of they're big barks, mommy said that's just how they say hello and that they need bigger barks to fit they're bigger bodies. I love the dog park, and I was sooooo sleepy afterward
Later my mommy and I went to Petsmart to get some more Ziggies and a squeaky tennis ball, and I saw kitties for the first time. I think they're okay, but I didn't really get to play with them.
Mommy said it was one of her best birthdays ever because I was a part of it. Today we're going to dinner at mommy's favorite restraunt and beacause we can sit outside I get to go too, I'm so psyched I just can't wait to smell all the new smells.
Well gotta scamper, there's a person digging a hole outside and I have to let them know that that's my job.
Paws and Pets,
Teddy
