Arrival Story:
We had a Beagle and a Jack Russell that died in Nov-Dec. 2003 ... the Jack Russell was bitten by a copper head and died 11-30-03 and the Beagle died 12-30-03 of Kidney failure. Needless to say losing 2 beloved pets was hard enough, much less within 30 days of each other. We just did not want to go out and get another dog right away. We were still grieving Jake and ZZ ... in June 2004 a stray pup came up to me in our yard. We posted pictures and put ad in the news but no one answered ... she had no collar and boy was she ever hyper. We took her to the vet and he said she was a beagle/jack russell mix, and probably was born in November 2004... Yeah that's what we thought ... scary huh. Our Beagle and Jack Russell died around that time and here was a Beagle/Jack mix born around the same time they died ... just showing up on our door steps. Well that's our story and Ritalyn (just fit her so well with the hyper personality) is one spoiled little pup living with us and brightening our lives ever day just like ZZ and Jake did.
