I love the dog park!

The dog park is the best thing since sliced cheese. My backyard became boring and old news after I helped dad tear out all the bushes. Although, he never really asked me to tear out the bushes. And I did dad a BIG favor when I killed this really long garden snake that was attached to the house. I bet he was happy when I sliced it into a gazillion pieces.

Anyways, getting back to topic, my momma really wanted me to get out and meet other dogs so she found this dog park only 10 minutes from our home. Oh boy I was so excited. So many dogs for me to chase and dominate! I've never met so many pup pals in my life! We all started chasing each other, all the other dogs outrun me though. That's ok, at least I'm bigger than them. Then somebody's dad had the audacity to call me a pony. Hmmmph.

I have yet to meet another fellow Dane though! My mom and dad really wants to see another Dane but they better not think twice about getting another one. Our house is NOT big enough. I'm already trying to get rid of Cleo, the last thing we need is another Dane.

I am not a gerbil!

I love to shred napkins up, I'm not sure why I do it. And I know I'm not supposed to shred them but I always forget that it's bad. Wait a minute... I always watch daddy and mommy just crumble them up, dirty them up, and throw them away. Hypocrites. I don't see them yelling at themselves or at each other. So when daddy and mommy were away I took (only a couple) napkins and made myself a little nest in the family room.

Uh oh, then in comes daddy and he sees the mess. He gets on the floor and starts grumbling as he's picking up the shredded napkins. All of my hard work! Then he says, "What are you, a giant gerbil?" I get really sad and my ears begin to droop. That's my way of saying sorry. Daddy is always forgiving, he then gives me lots of hugs and kisses. He doesn't stay mad at me for long, how can he since I'm so darn cute?

Ok dad, call me a giant gerbil. But be glad I'm not a giant beaver or else I'd be heading straight for your Alvarez classical guitar. :)

Don't look, I'm naked!

On the weekends mom and dad get grumpy in the mornings because I always wake up so early. I suppose mom and dad like to sleep in on Saturday especially, but I always get up around 6:30 or 7:00 AM just because I can. So I get up, run in circles, shake my head, and do other annoying things. Well I wear two tags on my collar (I guess they're afraid of losing me--FREAKS) so I make a lot of noise when I am up. They call me jingle Dane btw.

Soooo, mom and dad decides to take my collar off when its bedtime so I am butt naked when I sleep! Not only that, sometimes mom and dad get lazy and forget to put my collar back on. Then they laugh at me and say I look wild and feral without my collar. Now my new name is feral Dane. Isn't that funny, haha.

Such wonderful parents I have. I'm so glad they have fun at my expense.
