Arrival Story:
She was a doggie in the window. I was at an open air mall and walked by a local independent pet store and saw her through the window. When she saw me she perked up and put her paws up on the window and just captured my heart. I was still heartbroken from the unexpected death of my little chihuahua Dan a year earlier, and I didn't think that I was ready to welcome a new dog into my life. My son wanted to get me another chihuahua from a breeder and I hadn't been able to entertain the idea, but when I saw her I was won over and kept thinking of her, and so I went back to see her the next day with my daughter and I just had to take her home. She came with papers too and was bred from a lovely line of terriers . From that first night she curled up with me and hasn't left my side.
