Atypical Monday

Mommy didn't go to work yesterday since she didn't feel good - so we slept in till 11 with her. Then after we got up, the weather started to get nasty all around our house. It didn't rain much at our house, but the thunder scared me so I hid under the bed until it all went away. Mommy left and got us food and lots of treats, yay! So we all had dinner then took a walk around the neighborhood. We met some new doggy pals! Two Boston Terriers that live a block from us.
Hope the weather is good when Mommy & Daddy come home so we can say hi to our new pals!

My Weekend

My Saturday was very interesting! Mommy & Daddy took us for a few walks around the neighborhood. Daddy said something about treating the grass so we couldn't hang out in our yard. Then a bunch of people came over Saturday night to watch the UFC fight. I was happy to get a lot of attention and I just had to show off too! Mommy kept hiding one of my toys around the house and I would find it and show everyone.
I did not want to get out of bed Sunday... I slept in longer than Mommy & Daddy till noon! When I woke up we walked around the neighborhood again. It was really hot outside so I really enjoyed getting back to the house in a/c! Mommy & Daddy went to the beach for a bit - they would have taken us but most of the beaches around here don't allow us :(.
We went for one more walk before bed... walked to the supermarket for Daddy to buy cookies! Now the yard is all better for us, but Mommy & Daddy are going to try and walk us more as long as it isn't too hot!
