I love to just to run around the yard (3 acres +). Lots of room for me to roam!

Best Tricks:
One of my nicknames is Hoo-Bad. I can escape out of my harness and leash when my pawrents aren't looking! My nickname is a cross between Houdini & Badger! BOL BOL BOL BOL

Arrival Story:
I was adopted from the local animal shelter. My previous owners gave me up because they were moving and they told the pound that I wasn't a very good ranch dog. The pound said that my previous owners had way too many dogs and were moving into the city. I was the favorite dog at the pound where I was adopted. My pawrents were looking for a dog and stopped by the pound one day. They didn't adopt me the same day but, came back a few days later to visit with me. The pound let me go home with my pawrents to spend the night with them and see if I was going to work out in their home. They decided that I was the dog for them and went back the next day to sign my adoption papers and the rest is history! Everyone liked me there and was glad to see me get a new furrever home.

Bio:
I am a ranch dog still. I am very glad that I have found my furrever home. I have to share it with many cats but they don't bother me too bad. Every now and then, I will try and herd them up! BOL I have been known to nip at them when they bother me. I am pretty mellow when it comes to those cats. I do put up with a lot from those brats. I don't mind them but they DO BOTHER ME when they decide they are going to eat MY food. After all, it IS okay if I eat THEIR food but, I sure don't want THEM eating MY food! BOL BOL I growl at them and chase them off! BOL You should see those crazy cats scatter! They scatter across the hardwood floor so fast that they loose their traction. The crazy cats slip and slide all over the place and run into things! BOL I'm mostly an outdoor dog. I'm not always outside, I do get to come inside often. I have a warm barn to sleep in when it is cold outside or a crate inside. I am always safe from the elements outside. I have a pretty cool dog pen and a pawsome dog house. It's a pretty fancy dog house that my great grandpawpaw made. I LOVE to bark and bark at the FedEx, UPS, Mailman, any diesel truck or anyone that is in my yard that shouldn't be and then some. My mom says that I bark sometimes just to hear myself bark! BOL It is just something with those dang diesel trucks that don't like. My pawrents have one those those huge 4 door diesel trucks and when they drive it past my dog pen ....I run in the dog house for cover! I'm afraid of it!!! That is too up close and personal for me! When those trucks are a ways away then I think I can take them on! BOL I tore the carpet out of my dog house that my pawrents recently had put new carpet in. So now whenever the FedEx guy delivers packages for my dad....I grab the carpet and shake it around like a toy and there is an instant dust cloud around me. Mom thinks it is pretty funny when I do that. She says almost all she can see is a growling carpet flying dust cloud! She says it is hard to see me when that carpet and dust is flying around! BOL BOL BOL Maybe I am wishing that is the FedEx guys' butt??? BOL I was the only dog up until a few years ago. My pawrents adopted or should I say rescued a schnoodle named "Missy". Now I have a little doggie sisfur. She is very HYPER and ornery! I am a chicken when it comes to wrestling or other dogs taking me on. Missy is always wrestling with me or growling at me when she is eating. I hang my head and slink away. That is why I get my own food bowl etc. She can be a little meanie butt at times. I try to ignore her as much as I can! BOL
