Arrival Story:
I found an ad online for three little puppies. They were abandoned with no mommy behind a gas station in Miami- left to die. These people found them, and took them in. They bottle fed them, and dewormed them. Two puppies were already adopted. Kobe was last. I got him for $50- not your typical price for such a gorgeous pup. Although, even though it was a kind deed for those people to rescue them. I wasn't very fond of it. I got him, and discovered on the way home... he was flea infested! Thousands of them were allover. He had a nest on each ear. They would surface, and scurry allover. I was grossed out! I rushed him home, and spent 4 hours bathing the fleas off- and picking hundreds and hundreds of them off. I applied some K9 advantix and the next day, there were probably 7 dead fleas where he was laying. Needless to say, he was flea free- and has been ever since.
