He enjoys walks around the block, especially when Pongo is on one too.

New sister is coming home tomorrow :S

Hey guys,

After being an only dog for 10 years, I'm super nervous about my new sister Cali coming home tomorrow. I've been around when multiple cats were integrated into the new household, and I've been around my fair share of puppies. (don't even get me started on my cousin when she was a puppy... Giant Schnauzer puppies are CRAZY!! end of story.)

I'm hoping she won't be too annoying, and I hope she leaves me alone when I'm on my pillow; my sister has already assured me that she'll crate, or distract Cali if she starts to annoy me. But hey, maybe she'll end up being pretty cool, right? Maybe she'll like to romp around in the yard with me once she has all her vaccinations.

I have to admit, I'm slightly jealous. I mean, she's gonna probably be the main attention receiver for awhile... despite everyone's best attempts to even it all out.

Anyways, I'll report back after a few days with the new puppy! Wish me luck!

It's completely official!!

Hi y'all,

After much discussion, my human sister brought up the idea of a Papillon instead of an Aussie or Dalmatian. It has the small size that my human mom wanted, and the intelligence and athetletic ability that my sister wanted.

They found a breeder about four hours away, and the pups are due on March 10. We'll be able to bring the puppy home in May! :D I'm hoping that I'll be allowed to tag along on the car ride.. but I don't know yet.

Don't know how I should feel... nervous or excited?

Well, news broke today in the house that my human sister is getting an Aussie puppy from a breeder in early/mid 2011. I don't know whether I should be nervous, or excited. It will be totally my sister's dog, as she is paying for everything, so I'm prepared for her to be slightly tied up for awhile, until the pup has her bearings. But, they've all promised to give me loads of attention!

My sister said that once the puppy is used to going for walks, and has a slight grasp on proper leash etiquette, I can tag along too! (she's worried I might be a bad influence... apparently)

Anyways, just thought I'd say that I'll be getting a canine sibling soon! I won't be stuck with those bullies that my family calls cats... all they do is swat me! Now, maybe, I'll have someone to fight them with... but my sis is dead set on training this dog to it's full potential.
