Arrival Story:
I found Riley through an online service for adoption. He was 1 year old when I brought him home. He was being sold by a family who could no longer care for him. They had small children who treated him roughly.

Bio:
Riley was my very first dog. He was beautiful and loved being held and cuddled. He was always so scared of strangers and I always wondered if he had been mistreated. Sadly, he was hit by a car while I was away on vacation. I will never forget the day I found out that he was gone. We were only together for 3 months, but he taught me about unconditional love and the joy that an animal can bring to your life. He made me very happy and made me see that life without a dog is just not possible! Riley, you are missed every day, but I know that you are in a better place. I think of you often. He left us in June, 2004.
