Arrival Story:
I found Penny at the same rescue website where I found her big sister Maggie. We were looking for a small dog to complete our family. I checked the website often and looked through lots of pictures until I found the one of a giant eyed puppy with a semi-wrinkled face. She was adoreable, and I had to have her. So, a friend and I made the trek down to meet her, and they placed this 8 week old nervous little girl in my arms. Her one ear stuck out all wonky and she just looked up at with me with huge brown eyes and I knew she was mine. She rode the whole way home cozily snuggled up behind my head and on my shoulder. And she did not stay nervous for long, she brought out a little bit of playfulness in our nap-loving Maggie. She learned she liked attention and soon was leaning in to push Maggie out of the way to be in the center, something Maggie learned was easily fixed by moving to the opposite side. She also figured out she liked to tell Mom & Dad all about her day in a growlly language that is all her own. Penny is definately mouth oriented - she licks darn near everything (like a toddler learning to explore by putting things in their mouth). But our family wouldn't be complete without this fun-loving energetic goofball in it!

2. What kind of food do you eat?

DuraLife, sometimes I carry it around awhile to snack on the go!

3. What are your favorite treats?

I want what everyone else is having! I need to try it all to make sure I get the best!

4. Do you have a Best Bud??

I loves my sis Maggie, she even lays down to be at my height when we play, and licks my face when I want to snuggle with her on the couch. And I loves my cousin Annie, she and I tear it up running and goofing off when she comes to visit, she's a lab mix like Maggie but her personality is goofy like me!

5. Do you get Table Scraps?

Only sometimes, and I have to be patient and not beg - that can be so hard!

6. What is your favorite toy?

Oh, I love tennis balls, and my sqeaky bones, and my old collar and daddy's socks and sticks and rocks and okay I love just about anything I can put in my mouth!

7. When is your Birthday?

November 2006

8. How many times a day do you get to eat?

Iget breakfast served very early so I sometimes wait till lunch to eat, but then I don't want dinner so that becomes my mid-night snack.

9. Do you have a favorite color?

If I can lick it I like it!
