Arrival Story:
I got Bundy from a Yard Sale in september of 08. I was walking Epona when the people having the sale called me over and asked if I would want another Pit Bull. They could no longer keep him and were going to take him to the shelter. When I saw him I couldn't say no. He looked so pitiful on his short chain just laying in the dirt. He was very timid at first but he warmed right up to Epona. So I brought him home with me and he's been a great dog!

well so much for my handsome face. I went outside tonight at about 10 to use the bathroom one last time berfore i went to bed and i heard a commotion that sounded like a dogfight out in the back. Me and sis (Epona) took off back there tottally ignoring mom yelling no. We got back there and there was a coyote trying to get our friend Diva ( one of the rescue dogs) through her kennel. We had to defend her so we jumped in. Epona ran away before she got too beat up but I was standing my ground. Mom said the coyote looked like it was starving and that's probably why it was so brave and wouldn't back off. Mom yelled and screamed but we wouldn't stop. She ran back inside and got the gun and fired some shots in the air. That scared the coyote away. I came back but fell over halfway back to mom. She ran and carried me to the truck and called her wonderful vet on the way. She was there waiting on us and hooked me up to an IV immediately. After a little while she gave me some pain medicine to help me out then she cleaned me up a little. I'm in pretty bad shape and lost a lot of blood so she sent me home for the night so mom could keep and eye on me but I have to go back in first thing in the morning to get cleaned and stitched up. She was afraid I couldn't handle the knock out medicine as weak as I am right now. Luckily we have all had all of our shots! Epona and Diva will have to go with me tommorrow so Epona can get her ear stiched and Diva will need her lip stiched. Poor Diva she's trying to find a home but now she'll have a few scars which does not help a Pit Bull find a home. Hopefully someone will look past that and see what a sweet girl she is. I know people will look at me differently now but that's ok I'll just show them what a nice good boy I am. Mom said she'll still love me and think I'm handsome.
