New family member

Well, on July 4, mom went to the animal shelter, she had decided to get another black lab pup but after visiting, there was a special black mix there. She was taken to the shelter as a pup and has been there for over 3 years. She has never had a real home with a family. Her name was Sheba. Mom adopted her. Since this was a new beginning for her, mom changed her name to Mia. It seems more fitting. She's pretty petite. She is slowly adjusting to a real home. I watch from above as she discovers what having a loving home is all about. Welcome Mia to my family.

Mom misses me

Mom misses me and thinks about me every day. When I went to the Bridge, mom could not bring herself to get another Black Lab, it was too painful. My sister Zoey is a Yellow Lab. Mom has made the decision to add to my pack family on earth. She went out to the shelter on Friday and there was a Black Lab that could be my twin. She looks just like me. Mom has decided to get another Black Lab but it has really touched her heart and she misses me even more. She has been working on my Dogster page today, tears falling as she remember the great times we had together.
