Arrival Story:
We saw an ad in the paper that was nearby our house for a Saint puppy for sale, so we thought that we would just "go look". Anyone that has ever saw a Saint puppy before knows it is impossible to just "go look". The house was a little questionable where he was living and he had tar all over his feet and there was broken glass and nails all over the yard. But sill, he was sooooo cute. The front yard was filled with Harley-Davidson motorcycles and the man selling him was littered with tattoos and clothed in leather, so when we got him home and cleaned him up, we thought it was appropriate to name him Harley. We knew it was risky not getting him from a reputable breeder, but we just had to get him out of there. We consider him a rescue dog.

Bio:
Harley was our introduction into this fabulous breed and has lived up to everything a Saint Bernard is all about. We love him very, very much!

I am very sad to say that we had to let our St. Bernard, Harley go yesterday (03-08-07). [cry] He had a short battle with Lymphoma. It was the hardest decision I have ever had to make, but I know it would have been selfish of me to put him through anymore. He will be missed by many people, but I know he is in a better place now. He was a Certified Therapy Dog and frequently went to nursing homes and hospitals to put smiles on the elderly and childrens faces. But most of all, he was the pride and joy of me and my husband and he added so much to our lives.
