My Ears

I just noticed. My ears flop differently. One sticks up almost all the time. And the other usually folds over. And they are both spotted. How silly.

When I get really excited they both can go up or back. But usually one is stuck up, one is down... funny.

My First Diary Entry: How I met my foster family

Well, I have a lot of back story to fill you in on, so I'll start on where I first met my foster family (warning, this story is kind of gross - but it gets better). After the animal control folks found me wandering the mean streets (looking for pets and love, naturally), I was brought to the pound. I was so covered in giant fleas that people thought they were part of my black spots (which I do have, like a dalmatian). I also had some pretty deep and oozy scabbing from my mange (which wasn't contagious). All said, I was in bad shape. Then, one day, my foster mom & dad picked me up from the pound and BOY WAS I A HAPPY GIRL.

When they got me home my foster mom bathed me and picked off all those fleas (this is the one time I really didn't mind bathing). They kept me on my mange medicine and I was all healed up in a few months. (Plus, when I had no hair during winter, I got a nice pink coat to keep me warm outside). Now people call me beautiful again!

I also met my foster brother when I got to my new temporary home. I was very excited to see him, and even though he is smaller than me (especially now that I am healthy), I let him be the boss from day one. A lot of times I even try to copy what he is doing to make sure I am doing something right. When we play (which I love, love, love to do), I always let him win and roll over on my back.

I think that covers how we met. So much has happened, so many adventures! I'll have to let you know about all the things I've learned and places I've been since I came here!
