Arrival Story:
Rosie was born at Sunwoods Kennel in Canal Fulton, OH. She and her sister, Ruby, went to live with Debbie and Ivan Enders and their other Bostons when she was a puppy. As Rosie and Ruby grew older, neither had the temperment for showing. Ruby ended up going to live with another family and Rosie stayed with the Enders and eventually became a mom. Her first litter produced Buddy and Little Girl who went on to become AKC Champions. Her second litter was born on December 23. She had four puppies, including a small little very black and white boy. Rosie decided she had enough kids and that she would like to have a family with fewer Boston Terriers and less confusion. I called Debbie and Ivan, looking for an older Boston that was already housebroken. They told me about Rosie, but didn't tell me she was a new mom. Imagine my surprise when I arrive to find not only Rosie and her four babies, but another Boston named Maggie and her four puppies! Rosie and Maggie had their hands full keeping their puppies in check with the many other Bostons who were part of the Enders' family. Rosie and I fell in love right away. She loved to sit in my lap and cuddle. The puppies were adorable of course. I fell in love with the little black and white boy -- the only one who didn't yet have a home. After a week of thinking about it, I decided to give Rosie and her puppy a permanent home. I named him Buckeye Rosie's Sweet Tucker or Tucker to his moms and friends. Rosie now has a quiet home, with her son and buddy Tucker as her best friend.
