Arrival Story:
I had been debating back and forth about getting another cocker. See, my previous cocker, Rusty Bustro Uno Price, had been put down about 11 years ago at the age of 14. I was devasted because I considered him my brother. Even my mother use to tell me to "go get my brother and bring him in the house." LOL Fast forward, I have since moved to another state. I decide to do some research and I contact the cocker spaniel rescue mission to check about getting a rescue dog. I was very dismayed when they asked me about a vet reference etc. As I explained to them my dog had been put down YEARS ago and any and all vet/medical records were destroyed by my mother. They basically told me that my chances were slim to get a dog because I didn't have a vet reference. I understand that they have to make sure they are placing dogs with responsible people but it left a VERY bad taste in my mouth. Hell, I was type of person that bought Christmas gifts for my dog and took pictures of him on Christmas day. I was known around town for my oddly colored vehicle and the cocker spaniel in the passenger seat with his head out the window. I would hardly consider myself a threat. However, the rescue could have cared less about my pictures of Rusty or how well he was taken care of. I had no vet reference, end of discussion. Sooooo, I then dropped getting a dog because the rescue people were so unreasonable. I decided about 3 years ago that I needed someone to come home to and since I am not married, have no kids, I thought about getting a dog again. I researched area breeders and made contact with a breeder. She lived about 100 miles away from me. I emailed her TONS of questions and she was always so friendly in answering my questions. I then decided that I liked her approach and decided to put a deposit on a pup. Now, the pup I had chosen ( via pictures) was not Parker. It was not until weeks later that she had a pup that was to be sold but the deal fell through. She sent me his pic and asked me if I wanted the new pup or the one I had already chosen. I decided on the new one. That is how I became the mother to Sir Parker McKenzie Price of Riverfall Square ( yes that is his full

The Girl Is At It Again

Well, the girl is at it again. She gets me up at 4 AM!!! She loads me in the car and we head for some place called Walmart. Now, I am NEVER allowed to go inside. I don't understand why she takes me. Maybe its because it is dark outside and the girl needs me to protect her. Oh well. I guess I'll do it but it will cost her. I hoped once she was done shopping at this Walmart place, she would take me for my weekly sausage patty at some place called McDonalds. They know me. I am there every weekend getting my patty grub on! They love me and I love them. It is pretty considerate of the girl to do this for me. She's ok sometimes.

After I get my weekend treat, I have a very busy weekend ahead of me. Sleeping on the fireplace ledge, going out to pee and #2, drinking some H20, nibble on some food, take a nap and beg the girl for some of her dinner. She can never resist me, no woman can. I have beautiful big brown eyes!

Well, that's it for now.

Revolution!! Paws in the air,
