Quick Bio:

Likes:
running long distances, playing with children, playing ball, when Dad comes home from work

Pet-Peeves:
He's got a great disposition. But he doesn't like to be told he can't get on the sofa, which he does occasionally when we're not home.

Favorite Toy:
his ball

Favorite Food:
Any table food is his favorite food and he's not allowed to eat table food. But off the record, he loves potato chips, chicken, oranges and grapefruits. We don't mind giving him grapefruit sections when he comes over, and maybe some chips, but that's it.

Favorite Walk:
Joey has his favorite RUN. He loves to run ANYWHERE, the longer the happier.

Best Tricks:
He doesn't have tricks, really. But he does like to throw his ball up in the air and catch it, throw it up and catch it, for long periods of time.

I'm Joey, a chocolate Labrador Retriever. One day I found myself in the emergency room of an animal hospital. Well, maybe it had something to do with my digging myself under our fence to freedom and getting hit by a car. But in any event, that's where my story begins!

My blog is for children and their parents to help you to understand dogs, and dogs that have been wounded. It will help you with safety tips for your dogs, too.

If you'd like to hear my story, go to www.dogsdontlookbothways.com/joeys_blog.

Thanks. And now, won't you be my friend!
