I Love My Life

The Beautiful Lights

Well, once again this year, Mom and Dad loaded me and my sisters (Sheba, Spice, and my cat sister Pumpkin) into the 4runner and we drove around town and looked at the beautiful Christmas lights. I just love this yearly tradition. I was so excited as Mom and Dad pointed out the lights to me. They were so "beautifuuuullll". I even got so excited at one point that I barked like a dog. BOL Mom and Dad just laughed and laughed. They thought I was so cute. I like to make them laugh.
I just love looking at all of the lights and my sisters do too. We go every year. After we looked at the lights, we came home and had a snack. I love snacks.
I will write another entry later about my visit to see Santa Paws.
It was a really great Holiday season.

A Great Day

Mama and Dada got me a new bed. I just loooove it. Well, it's really not a bed, it's a mat that I sleep on beside Mama and Dada's bed. Since I am older, I can't jump up on the big bed like I used to do. If I want up there Mama and Dada help me up, but sometimes I just like to lay beside the bed. Anyway, I used to lay on a rug. I went to lay down today and take one of my usual naps and guess what???? I have something new to lay on. It's a mat that is made out of something called memory foam. I just looooove it !!!! It feels so good on my bum hip. It takes some pressure off of it.
Then, I asked Dada to get me a scratch off lottery ticket today. (I just love playing the lottery games.) Anyway, we scratched it off and I won $5.00 !!!! I gonna buy some treats for me and my sisters with it and I told Dada I would buy him a new truck, but he told me that $5.00 won't be enough for that.
Today was a great day. It gonna be good sleeping tonight.

The Day I was Dog Of The Day

I can't believe it !!! I was picked for Dog of The Day a couple days ago, today that makes me "The Dog of the Day Before Yesterday". BOL I was so excited that I couldn't even write in my diary about it until today. Here's what happened, I was at home just laying around like usual, and mama came home from work and she was all excited telling me that I was Dog of The Day. She kissed me and hugged me. My sisters smiled and howled they were proud of me. I told my sisters that I thought I should get to eat their treats for that day since I was DOTD. They didn't think that was a very good idea.
Anyway, I made lots of new friends that day. It was such a good day. Who would have thought when I was out on the farm all those years ago being abused that I would one day have such a nice home, sisters, and a family that love me so much and that I would be DOTD. I love every day of my life now, but I will never forget the day that I was Dog Of The Day.
