Dakota is very interested in our parakeet, but she is frustrated bc any time she gets up close for a good sniff he flies away.
Pet-Peeves:
Car rides, the mailman, the vaccuum cleaner, thunder, fireworks, other loud noises.
Favorite Toy:
She likes all of her toys :) especially a mickey mouse hand and pants we bought her in disney world. She knows what it is too, if you tell her to get her mickey pants she comes back with the toy in her mouth.
Favorite Food:
human food ofcourse, all meats, not really the veggies, likes chips, non-chocolate cookies, penut butter, junk food, etc.
Favorite Walk:
we have an invisible fence and she likes to run full speed around the yard and be crazy
Best Tricks:
tricks??? she knows "sit" and "no"
Arrival Story:
We adopted Dakota from the SPCA In 2001. She was very skinny and malnurished. Her coat was dull and not healthy. We don't know exactly what happened but she was definitely a homeless dog before we rescued her. She doesn't like loud noises or big objects (i.e. hangers, baseball bats) and crawls in the smallest space available. :( After we took care of her for a few months she gained weight to a normal size and her coat restored to its shiny black/brownish color.
