Birthday: July 9th 1998 Likes: being in your lap, anyone's lap, loves to be loved on. She has to be touching you in some way. She also loves to swim and play. Pet-Peeves: being left alone, not enough attention or someone paying attention to Remington. Favorite Toy: Loves her flying squirrel toy and the kong, and my slippers. Favorite Food: pretty much all of it. Favorite Walk: She loves going to the Flathead River or the Hungry Horse Resevoir. Best Tricks: wrapping you around her paw Arrival Story: My Molly girl passed away and Remington and I were in pretty bad shape. I did not want another dog for any reason. A friend of mine was in a situation where he needed someone to take his dog for awhile. I agreed to keep her for about 3 months. Poor thing was skin and bones when she made it to my house. (the ex-wife had not been feeding her). She was difficult to handle, went crazy at dinner time and constantly tried to run off. She wormed her way into my heart before I knew it. After awhile my friend realized he just would not be able to take her back and asked if I would keep her. And Ping became a full member of the family. Now she is well behaved, shares with her brother and you couldn't run her off if you tried. She has been a wonderful addition to our family and I wouldn't trade her for anything. I think Molly would approve. Bio: Ping comes from the same parents as Remington, just a couple of years younger. Adopting her was one of the best things I have ever done. I can't imagine not having her in my life. Forums Motto: Stop! Is that a real word. I had my staples removed yesterday and the vet said I was doing great and that I looked and acted like an 8 year old. He also said I was nicely muscled for an older girl.
Mom had to take me to the emergency vet last night. I was acting funny and not like myself so she and dad thought it best to have me checked out. Good thing! My spleen had burst some vessels and I was bleeding into my belly and had a large blood clot on the spleen pushing my other organs out of the way. Mom picked me up this morning and brought me to work with her. I am so far doing fine, but Mom would love lots of Power of the Paws to help speed my recovery.
