Sheba's Progress Week 4

I am learning to use the potty outside and not in the house. I only have rare accidents now in the house. I still love to chew on things other than my toys but I am learning.

I have to study hard to learn not to bark for no reason and not jump up on my mommy.

I do have lots of fun playing with Corbin and Dixie though. They are helping me learn the rules of the house.

I am Sheba, Hear Me Bark

I have been a little turd for the past few days. I chewed mommy's table and had 3 accidents in the house. She has been patient with me though. But because of my bad behavior, i have been in my kennel a lot. Yesterday, i sat by her feet while she cooked Filipino Lumpias! She gave me a blankie and lots of toys to play with. I played with Corbin too.

Mommy's best friend came over and brought Mickey. He is a Rat Terrier and he is deaf. This was his first time around other dogs but he handled it ok.

Sheba's Progress

I got Sheba on May 2, 2009 from the cemetery where we were carrying out a funeral service. She is a very intelligent and beautiful puppy. She appears to be about 3-5 months old. She still has her puppy teeth.

She rides well in the car and she follows me everywhere that I move. She was scared of Dixie when i first got her home but now she barks at Dixie to get her attention.

She has had about 3 preventable accidents in the house. But, they were my fault because i was not watching her closely. I think her signal for needing to go outside is getting hyper but im not sure yet.

She already knows her name after only 6 days. When i call her name, she runs to me. Im so proud of her.

She will go to her first vet visit next Friday or Saturday.
