I have a home.

Sunday 9/13/09 my life changed again. This time I went to live in New Orleans. I was a little scared at first but I am fine now. I have been spayed and finished my heart worm treatment. I feel good and I look pretty too. My foster parents told me from the day I went to live with them that I was not going to be there forever. They promised me I would have a good home. Not like the past. I will have vet care, lots of food and shelter from the heat and cold. I would be loved and I would never be homeless again. I have my home now and it is awesome. I have a brother too. Murray is taking some work for me to get right. He's been alone a long time and so I have to teach him to share. He's doing fine. He lets me nap with him and we play a lot. I love my new moms and home. I thank my foster parents and the angels for helping me to get to this place. I am going to be very happy.

A new friend.

I am all over my surgery. All well and feeling fine. Today I went to the park and I met a new friend there. His name is Murray and mom says he used to live here at our house. He was a foster dog like I am. I had a nice time with Murray and when we were on our way back home mom said Murray is probably going to be my new brother. She said I will go live at Murray's house and it will be my home like it is his. That would be nice. Mom says we just have to wait and see if it works out.

Feeling fine.

I had surgery on Monday. It was not too bad. I just wanted to sleep for the first day and I didn't feel like eating till a couple od days later but I made up for it.hehehe I just slept and slept. My belly was real sore for a few days but I am fine now. Mom and Dad are very sad. The vet said I failed my heart worm test. I have heart worms. Mom says I will have to be treated for that and it makes doggies sick to do it. I hope it goes by fast. I will be OK though.

Little Maddie is gone! Bella said she is in her new home. She got adopted. She has her very own family and a boy to play with her. She sure is lucky. I'm happy for Maddie. She's real young and being a foster is hard for the young ones. Good luck Maddie. I'll remember to say prayers for you little girl.

I'm having surgery!

I don't know what surgery is but I'm getting it. Mom said she has an appointment for July 27th and I will be spayed. She says that means I will not have any more babies. She says it is going to be fine and I should not be afraid. I'm not. I know she would not do anything to hurt me or let anyone else hurt me. I have 2 wks to wait and then daddy is going to go with me to the vet. Mom says that Bingo is coming with me. He's getting neutered. Hummmm I'm not sure what that is.

It rained today.

It rained last night and today. It thundered and there was lots of lightening too. I was not scared at all. I sleep in the people bed so I was fine. Today I had to walk on the wet ground when I went out but it was OK. I slept all night.

Buddy told me that mom and dad are adopting Bentley. That means he has his forever home here with them. That's nice and I'm happy for Bentley. I am going to have a home one day. I want a home where I am th only dog or maybe just one other dog with me. There are too many here. I don't like to share my people. I know it's not in my paws. It will be up to mama and daddy where I go. They will go visit the new family's house and learn all about them before I move in. I'll be safe and loved by my forever family.

Daily Diary Pick!!!

Wow! I'm honored. I think Mom and Dad should do something special for me today. Hummmm let's see. Extra food? No, I get all I want now. I know, a big soft bed. No, I have that too. Extra ear rubs. I get my ears rubbed any more and the hair will come off. hehehe Well I guess I just have EVERYTHING so I will just enjoy the honor.

I've been bad.

Mom and Dad are a little upset with me. I have been snappy with the other dogs lately. BUT I want them all to myself. I don't like it when I'm with Dad and one of the others comes to sit with us. I want to be the only one so I snap at them. Mom says I am not nice to do that. Hummmm well he's all mine and I am not going to share.

Everything is OK now.

My heat cycle has passed now so I get to sleep in the people bad again. I really don't mind sleeping in my crate. It's a huge crate so I have room to walk around in it and stretch out. I do like the people bed though. I like being near my people. Sleeping with them makes it easier for me to protect them in case a burgler or bad man comes around. Like if someone comes in and tries to steal our big bag of dog food or out Nylabones. I can stop the robbers. I'm very brave. Buddy says it's his job to protect the house and family. Boys! They think girls can't do stuff as well as they can. Well I can.

I like it here. Mom is nice and I love Dad. He holds me in his recliner and rubs my ears while I nap with him. I like the other dogs OK. I kind of stay away from them. I like people best.

I like a big yard.

We went to visit my human step sister yesterday. They have a huge yard with lovely soft grass. I ran and played and rolled in the grass. It was fun. I played till I was pooped out.

My time has passed

I feel good! I am having fun with my friends. Mom says I have passed my time to mate. I am not going to have puppies this time. She said I will never have babies again. She said from now on I will be the baby. Hummmm I think I like that idea. It's hard work taking care of babies.

It's very hot today. 92 degrees! The cement outside is so hot I can't walk on it. I took a short sun bath this morning but I spent most pf the day inside on my big pillow bed. We have air conditioning in the house and I like that very much. Mom says I can go out anytime I feel like it. I know how to use the doggie door and I go and come as I choose. Those doggie doors are awesome things. I hope my furever home has one.
