Through the neighborhood and to this huge open field where she runs in circles and goes crazy chasing the birds

walking on her two back legs, leaping, hunting, and slowly but surely she's learning down
Arrival Story:
One late night we heard a dog outside our house barking and being very loud waking the other dogs. He was this adorable wire fox terrier, but we couldn't get him to come to us and it was raining so we left food and a blanket and hoped his owner would find him the next morning. Well the next morning the dog was still there under our carport, but apparently some disgusting excuse for a human being had shot him to make him be quiet. We took him to the vet and wanted to adopt him if no one claimed him. Luckily he was microchipped and his owner was so happy to have him back. But we wanted to rescue another dog so we made a trip to the animal shelter and there she was. At the very end of the row all by her lonesome, whining and crying and wagging her stub of a tail. She broke my heart and won us over and she's been with us for a few months now. Thanks to the little terrier, Dawn was rescued.
Bio:
We call her Dawn, after the character from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, because they are both very whiny, and one has long beautiful brown hair and one has long beautiful brown ears! We call her smallmouth because we love how tiny and soft her mouth is.
