Mom's little Ambassador!!!

I tricked my mom!!!!!

So on Friday afternoon when my mom let me outside she didn't realize dad left the gate open!!!! When dad called on his break like he does everyday, he told her how he had forgotten his key to the door and remembered that he had left the back door unlocked. He ran in the house to get his key, and was running later for work so he forgot to close the gate. Mom doesn't check, (though now she does!!!!) and she let me outside. I was out there for about ten minutes before dad told her the gate was open. She called me, and I didn't come (of course there are way more interesting things to find in the yard!!!!) Mom ran out the front door thinking the worst, some of our neighbors wouldn't bring me back hom they would call and then I would have to go to the pound and wait for mom and dad to get me out. She called me again thinking she would have to go looking for me, and there I was playing in the front yard!!!! I was just looking at her, like what mom calm down I am right here!!! I didn't even leave with the gate wide open, and plenty of chance to run. I like it at my home, and have no reason to run and play!!! Well, that is unless the other pups are outisde. I love to play with them. Mom was so rpoud of me, and kind of surprised that I didn't leave the yard!!!! Man, am I a good pup or what????

Now, if I could just get two of the three cats to see how good I am!!!! I learn a lot of naughty things from Felix, like jumping on the kitchen counters, and sitting in the window sill!!!! Man, he teaches me some cool tricks!!!!

Mom's little Ambassador!!

So the other day we went for a walk down by the lake front like we always do, I love it there!!! Anyways, there were a lot of pups there to play with!! But, the best part was that there was a lady with her two kids there and she was scared of all dogs, let alone a bully!!! Well, because I am a pup, she wanted to pet me!!! The best part of it all, was that her son said that it's not the breed, it's the people that train them!!! I was so excited to hear a 10 year old say that!!! I was helping her get over her fear of all dogs, and for her to pet me of all the pups that were down there was too exciting!!! There was also another family down there flying kites (whatever those are), and the little boy, he was like 3 or 4. Well his mom has always been scared of us bullies, and his dad said that it's not our breed it's the people that train us!! Then he said, look at him he is so loving and sweet, then the little boy wanted to pet me, and I was so gentle with him and the other lady because I knew that they were a little scared. I was so proud of myself, and my mom was even more proud of me!!!! I totally walked away with my head held high!!!! My mom says that I am her little ambassador!!! I think she is right. I know when to be more gentle with people when they are not too sure about me, and especially the little ones. I know not to jump on them, and only give them my most gentl pittie kisses, and they LOVE it!!!!!

Other than that I am doing good, I went to the vet (which I love, and mom thinks that's weird, but really good!!!!), and I weighed in at a healthy 36.4 pounds!!! They think I will get to be at least 50 pounds by the time I am full grown. He said I won't grow much more than height wise than I am, I stand at aobut 18 inches high!!!! Talk to you all soon!!!!
