Birthday: June 7th 2007 Likes: Playing, walks, the beach, diving in rock pools, kisses, cuddles, attention, chasing Liberty the cat Pet-Peeves: Motorcycles, the pug next door, having my face washed, Leo the cat (my so-called cat brother), the vacuum cleaner Favorite Toy: My ball on a rope, my squeaky yellow ball, all squeaky plush toys, tissues, balls of paper, tug toys Favorite Food: Chicken, salmon, tuna, Bonio, Favorite Walk: The beach Best Tricks: Doing a hi-five Arrival Story: I have had three homes, and I'm not even 2 yet. The first people who owned me were very nice, and I had a doggy friend there. But because she was a girl, and I wasn't fixed at the time, I used to leave my scent everywhere, so they gave me away. That made me very sad. Then, I went to live with some people who had big guard dogs. They were all very nice to me, but they were very busy. They didn't have much time for me, and decided it would be kinder to give me away. I've been promised by my human, that I now have my forever home. I have lived here since Christmas 2008, and I'm a very happy boy. Bio: I cost my human a lot of money at the groomers. My fur grows very fast, and even when it's brushed every day, it can still tangle up, especially when I romp through the woods. So, my human keeps my coat quite short, to stop me getting tangled. That makes me happy! Forums Motto: Mr. Happy My Videos: Click to biggify!
Okay, I'm a bit lost here at the moment, and my human is no better. We haven't yet worked out how to send friend requests. This is rather annoying, as I'm a very friendly boy, and love every dog I meet - except that bitey pug who lives next door to me. He's a bit mean.
Anyway, I will keep trying to learn how this Dogster thing works. If I can learn 'sit', 'wait, 'no bark', 'hamsters are not food' and 'don't bite the cat', I'm sure I can learn Dogster.
OMG - I think she's getting ready to take me for a walk. Where, I wonder? The beach? The park? Ooh, I feel the urge to jump up and down and spin around, before I go fetch my harness. Byee!
Woof - er, hello! My name is Jake. I'm what's known as a Shih Apso - or is that a Lhasa Tzu? Well, my mummy is a Shih Tzu, and my daddy is a Lhasa Apso. I will be two in June of this year. I have had THREE homes, all before I was 18 months old. But I've now been assured that I now have my forever home, so I'm very happy.
Anyway, I'm new to this Dogster thing, so I'll keep it brief for now. I hope to make lots of new friends, especially Lhasa Apsos, Shih Tzu's and of course, Shih Apsos like me. Bye for now!
