Arrival Story:
I went to the local animal shelter with my sister because she was thinking about adopting a cat. Well of course we couldn't not look at the dogs and there in the last cage, was the most beautiful, sweet looking dog I had ever seen. She was sharing the cage with a basset hound who was quite vocal and active but she was sitting quietly and sweetly. We took her to the outside area and she ran and wagged her tail until we thought it might fall off and just seemed so happy that there was no doubt she was coming home with us. And that is how Tara became the second doggie member of our family.

Bio:
Tara is named after a character from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, our family's favorite t.v. show. We already had a Willow and thought Tara would be the perfect companion and sister.
