I Did It!

So I did something amazing yesterday.. Mom and I were on our nightly walk.. and I lifted my leg to pee! FINALLY!
I am 6 months old, and I've been squatting this whole time. (Peeing 'like a girl' as mom's been calling it.) Mom's always wondered when I was gonna lift my leg! But I did it last night!

6 Months Old!

It's my half- barkday today! I am exactly 6 months old today. :)

I Got Sick! :(

I gave mom a scare tonight..
I was fine and then all of a sudden at about 5:30 p.m, I started throwing up.. but a LOT! I threw up my entire breakfast from this morning, all still in kibble-form.. I was also throwing up a lot of yellow mucusy stuff, and after that I threw up foam a few times. It was really gross! But mom didn't seem grossed out cleaning it up, just really worried. She called the vet, and told them what was going on and they said I might just be hungry and throwing up bile from hunger. So mom said ok. She hung up but then I started puking some more about 5 minutes later so she called the vet again and told them I was still puking and that she was gonna bring me in to see them. I really don't like going to the vet (they jabbed me with needles last time I was there!) But mom said we had to go.. so off we went.

We go there and they took my temperature and all that stuff and said my temperature was a LITTLE high, probably just cuz it was really hot here today, but nothing major. They said they weren't too sure why I was throwing up, it could've been one of a few things- maybe I drank some really cold water too quickly, or maybe I was too overheated cuz it was soooo hot outside today. They gave my mom some special food to feed me for the next two days and a few tablets that are sort of like the doggie equivalent to Tums.

I've been home for about 2 hours now and I haven't thrown up since.. I'm up walking around and stuff but I haven't eaten the food yet. Mom's pretty worried, but I think I'll be fine and she worries too much! She says she's gonna keep an close eye on me tonight to make sure I'm feeling better soon.
