Likes: People and the attention they give him! Playing fetch, meeting new people, food/treats, performing tricks and just showing off in general.
Pet-Peeves: Not getting attention when he wants it, getting his nails trimmed, getting brushed (because it takes furr-EVER!) bath-time..
Favorite Toy: Soccer ball, tenis ball, football. (He's a sporty dog!) As well as a squeaky rubber donkey... He also loves his stuffed pig toy called Bacon, which is no longer stuffed due to excess love from Jasper.
Favorite Food: Royal Canin puppy food, and dog treats. Anything tasty!
Favorite Walk: In town, or anywhere that there's lots of people around. He craves the spotlight, all the time!
Best Tricks: Beg, circle, roll over, shake-paw, high-five, leave it, and shy (hide your face.)
Arrival Story: Samoyeds have been my favorite breed for about 10 years.. I've always wanted one, from the first time I saw one when I was 10 years old! When I was finally in a situation where I was able to get one of my dream dogs, I did my research and found the perfect breeder, located about a 4 hours drive away from me. They have been breeding Sams for 30 years, and their dogs are beautiful and so well tempered. Also, many are champions and come from amazing bloodlines, so I knew it was going to be a great match between breeder and new owner.
In December 2008, she told me she'd have a little boy (which was what I wanted!) And he'd be ready for me in the middle of January. I had to wait about a month and a half, and the wait nearly killed me. I've never looked forward to something so much!
But finally, on January 17th 2009, I brought Jasper home! And I fell in love with him the second I saw him. He's an amazing dog, and has quickly become one of the best friends to me that anyone could ask for!

Wow I can't believe it! I've been featured on Dogster's Diary of the day! That makes me feel great.. especially because I'm in for my neutering today.. so this makes up for it.. ALMOST! Hehe :)
So I did something amazing yesterday.. Mom and I were on our nightly walk.. and I lifted my leg to pee! FINALLY!
I am 6 months old, and I've been squatting this whole time. (Peeing 'like a girl' as mom's been calling it.) Mom's always wondered when I was gonna lift my leg! But I did it last night!
