I love to kiss (with tongue too!), I also love chasing my tail in front of people coz it makes them laugh and I love it when I make my humans laugh. They always seem to be laughing at me. I should be a stand up comedian!
Pet-Peeves:
I hate it when my daddy blows in my face. I also hate it when people leave me alone in the room.. "I know you are there!!! WOOF WOOF!!" Yeah I really really hate that!
Favorite Toy:
I have this squeaky toy that Zoë (my cousin - Yorkie) gave to me when she first visited from Chicago. I also love my rawhide bones coz I love hiding them in different corners of the house and finding them later.
Favorite Food:
Fruits, chicken, cheese, my cookies, basically anything that Grandma, Grandpa, Mommy or Daddy gives me.
Favorite Walk:
There is this park near my house that Mommy takes me out on walks when it's nice and dry outside coz she hates it when I get dirty. But I LOVE getting dirty. I don't care. Mommy wishes I was more girly than a tomboy. Daddy loves it that I'm a tomboy.
Best Tricks:
Sit, shake a paw (left and right), down, stay, roll-over & "Stick 'em up" (that's my favourite one coz Mommy says I look so cute when I do it)
Arrival Story:
Well...Angelo and I were preparing the next step in our relationship and we thought getting a dog would be perfect. So first we chose on the breed and basically went to the bookstore to check out some books on dogs. The Westie stood out immediately and I began looking for reputable breeders right away. I finally found one after 6 months of looking and put my deposit down on the next litter that was coming up. Finally my breeder (Kelly) called me saying that Rosie (Brooklyn's maternal mom) just gave birth to a litter of 6 (3 girls ad 3 boys). I was originally promised a boy coz all the girls were scooped up already. I was prepared to name him "Harlem". About 2 weeks before we went to pick "Harlem" up, Kelly called saying that the last girl didn't get picked up and that I can now choose between a girl or a boy. So I decided to go with a girl becasue that was always my first choice. We got to the farm and I basically knew which one was mine. I picked her up and named her "Brooklyn" and Angelo couldn't take his eyes off her. It was LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT. She was the smallest puppy out of the litter and she wasn't hyper or yappy. Little did we know, 2 weeks after having her home, she was SUPER HYPER but still not yappy (Thank God!) And now she is a hefty 15 lbs at 9 months. Yeah...you can say that she is not a small puppy anymore. Angelo and I are really evnjoying her first year with us. I am SO in LOVE with her and can't get enough of her. I rush home from work everyday to play with her. She is puppy-sat by my dad (her Grandpa) everyday while I'm at work and he is absolutely smittened by her too. I know she is getting lots of treats when I'm away. That's why she's so chubby. Granpa likes to say that she's "SOLID". So that's our story! Thanks for taking the time to read Brooklyn's profile. I have a cousin (Zoë - yorkie - in one of the pics) that I love to bug whenever she comes for a visit. Because I know that Zoë is smaller than me and I love to smush her. Hee hee. I konw that I'm is a funny dog because my humans are always telling me that...and I love to make them laugh. It's as if I'm doing stand up comedy for them when I chase my tail. I like to stop to check if they are laughing and then continue! I love to play rough and that where Daddy comes in coz he loves to play rough with me. i love to get chased around the house and hide behind the couch coz I know that Daddy can't get me there. And when I'm tired, I'll allow anyone to carry me like a real human baby. I like to get babied a lot and that is what Mommy is good for. I know when to be a tomboy for Daddy and when to be a girly girl for Mommy and then just when to be a pest to Grandma and Grandpa. I am paper trained, so I pee on pee pads coz Mommy hates getting me dirty. I also went through Puppy Kindergarten and Puppy Kindergarten Level 2. I passed them both with flying colours. Next is going to be agility classes in the spring time. Mommy says that it will be a good experience. We'll see I guess. Thanks for stopping by my page. Wow...I got tons of presents for my first Christmas...all of them from MOMMY! she is the best. I got lots of new toys that I have been playing with all day...Mommy put them in a basket so that I don't mess up the house...but still when she comes home from work and sees that all my toys are all over the place, she gets a little mad at me because she's been trying to teach me to put things back in the basket. I'm very forgetful, so i haven't been keeping my toys. Oh well...i know she still thinks I'm cute. Sounds like tonight is a big night for Mommy and Daddy too. I think they'll probably be going out and leaving me with Grandma and Grandpa coz it doesn't seem like they are going out. I love hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa. They always feed me...Mommy gets mad at them because she thinks that they are feeding me too much, but i say KEEP THEM COMING! I love food...I'll never say no to food...hee hee...anyways, just wanna wish all my pup pals a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! See you in 2005!

I had fun this weekend...Mommy and Daddy took me to Petcetera this weekend to pick up more food, pee pads and Zoë's X'mas present. She got some cool stuff. I wonder what I'm getting for X'mas. So far I don't see any presents under the X'mas tree but I think that is because Grandma doesn't want me chewing at the nicely wrapped presents. She doesn't trust me. Heck! I wouldn't trust myself. I guess we'll just have to wait 5 more days! We are having X'mas dinner at Uncle Raymond's house. My FIRST X'mas ever! I can't wait. I wonder what all the hype is about? I wonder waht I'll have for dinner that day...I always wonder what I'll have for dinner...Grandpa thinks that I'm fat...I don't think so...I am still a baby...so I still have babyfat...it'll go away as soon as I hit my first birthday (hopefully).
I also got to run around in an open field on the weekend OFF LEASH! I can't believe Mommy and Daddy let me off leash! But I made sure that I was a good girl and stayed close. They like to chase me around...and I like to be chased around. I was so out of breath when we got back to the car that I just passed out. What a great day that was! I know that I'm due for a bath now coz I got dirrty when I was playing in the field. I am just waiting for that day to come. hmmm...
Also, Mommy bought me a santa hat and reindeer antlers that she keeps putting on me and laughing...i don't like them...but I think Mommy and Daddy does...I betcha i'll have to pose for the camera with those on one of these days...Hmmmm...I guess I'll just do it to make Mommy and Daddy happy...Grandma and Grandpa seem to like them too....anything to please my humans!!!!
Well...I just wanna wish all my pup pals a very merry christmas and happy new year. It's my first...so I am not so sure what's going to happen...but I'm sure it'll be fun!

Yay...it's my first entry and I know my Mommy can't wait to check out the rest of the site as well...
Well...I guess since this is a diary entry...I should be telling you what's going on in my life...well I've been home taking care of my grandma lately coz she's very veyrs ick. She's been coughing and coughing all day long, so yesterday I just hung out with her in the family room and hopefully she felt better. She went to work today so i think she is getting better. My grandpa was supposed to take her to the doctor's today...but like me, she doesn't like going to the doctor. Mommy and I got to hang out yesterday watching TV. She was getting all excited about this one TV show called "The Apprentice" coz I guess it was the last episode or something. While she was watching, she was giving me a big belly rub. I love my belly rubs! I fell asleep on her tummy too coz I don't like watching TV that much. And then all of a sudden I hear her camera phone going off and wake up to see that she is taking pictures of me sleeping on her tummy on her new camera phone. Mommy's weird! Hee hee...anyways...that's it for today...will continue later.
