Arrival Story:
Well I have a wonderful feince who has a 9 year old Rat Terrier that is her service dog. The Rat Terrier's name is Loretta. She Is a seizure alert dog and a hearing aid dog. Yet in a few years when loretta becomes 11 to 12 years of age she may need to retire. I am a fortunate man to have a son who has been Breeding american pit bulls all his life. Noone has to tell me how loving and wonderful a pit bull can be. I was very fortunate to get a free pup from him. When we learned that my sons pit whose name is Kylee was going to have pups I knew that we had the perfect timing for addition. Roxy Is 8 Weeks old we just got her 2 days ago. When she reach's 4 months of age she will be going with a professional service dog trainer for 3 to 6 months.

Bio:
Rules in an American Pit Bull Terriers House I AM THE KEEPER OF THIS HOUSE. If you come crawling through a window instead of waiting to be invited through the front door you deserve what you will get. I DO NOT SUFFER FOOLS. I AM THE REAL AMERICAN PIT BULL TERRIER I am LOVABLE, SILLY, LOYAL, KIND, CHARMING, FUNNY, CHEEKY, have TONS OF PERSONALITY and CHARACTER and I am MODEST. Contrary to nasty rumors (probably spread by some overachieving agility dog) I am NOT STUBBORN, MOODY or HEADSTRONG, lies, all dirty lies. I AM A SWEETHEART. It is true I dont like other dogs, but not because my relatives were fighting dogs. THE TRUTH IS I was supposed to be Lassie and some stupid collie who couldnt act, get the part, eye roll, WHAT AN INSULT. Now I dont like other dogs. I like humans EXCECPT CRIMINALS (to dangerous). POLITICIANS (who need to grandstand) and MEDIA (always want sensational headlines). If humans are so smart, why do they believe my jaws lock? Or that I dont feel pain? What Stupidity, good grief. I DO SO! If I dont get my treats on time every single day I FEEL UNBERABLE PAIN. I walk in FAMOUS FOOTSTEPS. My relatives were owned by two presidents: a cousin sniffed out the biggest cocaine bust in history. (IN YOUR FACE, lassie): another cousin has more titles then any other dog in history: and MY UNCLE PETEY was part of the little rascals. I AM A VERY GOOD DOG. I welcome visitors, but be warned that EVERYBODY SHOULD EXPECT A COMPLETE BODY SEARCH PERFORMED BY ME MY HOME, MY RULES. Everything here belongs to ME. I own all stuff, toys, balls, sticks bones, socks, remote controls, couches, beds, treats, shoes and humans are MINE. EVERYTHING IS MINE, MINE, MINE, MINE.

Roxy at 7 Months

Well we are not sure how much more Roxy will grow, She weighs in at 42 pds now. Let no one kid you Spaying her did not calm her down or slow her down one bit. (BOL) She is just as energetic as ever. She loves bringing her toys to us to play with her. ( The ones she has not destroyed anyways BOL ). We have to put her rope up now, unless we are playing tug of war with her. I never knew that a dog could chew up a rope before and we need to be careful that she dose not swallow string. So up it go's unless we supervise her with it.

We got Roxy at 6 weeks old and its hard to believe she is now 6 months weighing in at 38 pds. She has grown so fast, and she still loves lying on my feet. Tug of war is still her favorite game.
She brings her rope and puts her head in my lap to play. So far no negative experiences and we hope to keep it that way. She is a very calm dog, yet has her moments as any pup would. She definitely wants to be the top dog. Between her and our feisty Rat Terrier its a challenge. Our Little Rat Terrier takes no guff from the big bad pit. Yet they are inseparable. Sadie is Roxy's best friend she is a Boxer that lives up the street, Her and Roxy play very rough together. Roxy knows better then to play that rough with Loretta our Rat Terrier. Roxy is truly a dream come true, we could not have hoped for a better dog.

Roxy The Big Girl ( Spayed )

Yes Roxy was spayed yesterday and now she is a big girl. 5 months old weighing in at 33 pds. Roxy knew when we stopped feeding her the night before last that something was up. The next morning when we got up Roxy was whimpering. She knew something was coming, We had to have her at the vets office by 7:30 am. She behaved so well and I was so impressed, even the vet took notice of it.
He could not believe at how calm mannered she was. Roxy made us very proud of her. We brought her home 6 hours later, she got carried in the house by Dad. She has been out of it as to be expected, But she still hears that Peanut Butter Jar. She has been laying close to us sense we been home. She needs to stay calm for a week or so which means no playing with her boxer friend Sadie. No jumping or running for at least 10 days.
