Hey there all my doggie pals! Today is a great day! As I paw this down, I'm really tuckered out. Yesterday was a roller-coaster of emotions. It had everything - highs and lows. It started out normal, a pee and a big hearty bowl of Small Bites, followed by forgetting where my dog bed was. But then something terrible happened. The sky came down. In huge pieces. It was terrifying. It was beyond anything my family has ever described as rain. They got really excited, but I knew better, I was scared. Sure enough, the sky opened up and amongst the torrents there was a tremendous roar and flash. Again and again. My family had to hold me because I was shaking so violently that slobber flew off my tongue - and since I'm a refined dingo this hardly ever happens. This went on for what seemed like forever. Finally it passed, dinner came and it was like nothing had ever happened. Except for the puddles and the damp grass that gets my belly wet. My family went out for dinner and when they came home, they had brought with them three more people. Who all loved me and wanted to give me belly rubs! It was great! I had them right where I wanted them. I even got some treats. ; )
Needless to say, I had a great night's sleep wedged between the family's bed and the wall. I had half a bowl of small bites upon waking up before heading off on a great trek to the top of a mountain. It was straight up! I had to come home and take a rest before we went another big walk to Trader Joes. I love going to Trader Joes - everyone pet's me on the way out. One of these days they are going to let me inside! I know right where they keep the pet sample jar. :)
