Arrival Story:
Well, we got Phoebe at 8.5 weeks old on Wednesday, May 27th, 2009. She is just the sweetest little girl ever. We had been in touch with her breeder, about an hour north of Calgary, and as she happened to have available pups we went up to see her. She was only 5 weeks old the first time we saw her, but it was love at first "kiss". She was the only grey (silver) pup in a litter if 6 pups. She was also the calmest of the pups, and that is exactly what we wanted. At five weeks old, we did wonder if that would remain as her personality. Well, now at almost 9 weeks old, she is still soooooo laid back, I am really astonished. We all just adore her.

Bio:
Phoebe is a silver newf, who's father is a Landseer Newf, and her mom is a black newf. (However, her mom's mom is a brown newf.) Somehow this combo produced a silver pup, in a litter of blacks. All the pups were females, but in comparisson, she is by far the calmest one.
