Arrival Story:
After raising Thurgood, I thought I'd never be ready for another pup. I love T-Man with all my heart, but he was a HANDFUL! One day, a huge furball of a St. Bernard puppy was dropped off at the shelter. The person who bought him was unable to provide him with the proper home environment. When Miles arrived at the shelter, he was scared and hid in a corner in the office. After some encouragement and coaxing from my coworkers, Miles came home with me as a foster puppy. As soon as we got home, Miles came out of his shell and became the sweetest, most eager-to-please fur child in the world. He is a true foster failure and I'll spoil him rotten for the rest of his life!

Everything is so much fun! I love going on adventures, meeting new people and other furbabies. My mom says I'm growing up, but I'll always be her furbaby, no matter how big I get. My favorite things: 1. Socks (but I hardly EVER go get them from Mom's room anymore because I'm learning how to follow all the rules) 2. Empty water bottles (they sound GREAT when they fall on the floor) 3. Ziggy the Cat (but he doesn't like me so much) 4. Going on little walks with Mom (she says that when I get bigger I can go on longer walks and hikes in the woods) 5. Sleeping with Mom (when I'm sleepy, I put myself to bed and Mom joins me when she's ready to go to bed) 6. Giving lots of love and cuddles, and bringing joy to all the lives I touch

When Mommy goes to work to help the other animals who need homes, I get to play with my Aunt Ashley. I love her so much. She takes me to her house, and we do fun stuff until Mommy comes home. Sometimes I'm so sleepy when Mommy comes home that I march myself to bed and wait for her to follow. It's great having a family to love!
