We roam the woods and rivers, daily. They're all her favorite.

Being boss. Days of cute puppy-dom long behind us, we relish in our regal maturity; doing as little as necessary, natch.
Arrival Story:
Our first experience with a dog passing. HAD to have another, immediately, or sooner. It didn't make the pain go away, but the puppy-ness did keep me so busy, I had less time to dwell in that space.
Bio:
Becz I don't believe in single dog situations we needed another new dog, to be Sky's pack-mate/same age. We'd had two dogs, this one who'd passed (Doubie), leaving our other dog, River, alone at 5 years old. Sky would need a pack member her age. Thus, Breeze, a pure-bred Akita came into our lives, for the next 5 years. We were a pack of myself, my partner, and River, Sky, and Breeze. Actually, Mountain, a black Lab puppy, was supposed to be Sky's buddy. He had to be helped crossing over, at 6 months of age. Not good for any of us. Then, came Breeze.
In the next saga, we will get to Siku, the pure-bred, 1-yr. old, Alaskan Malamute (who I really am, want to be, on dogster), and Cante, the 1 -yr old purebred Golden Retriever pack member, our current family, cats notwithstanding, as soon as I can get Siku's picture on-line.
