Bio:
This boy was found wandering the streets in nearby Spartanburg County. When CBHR rescued him they guessed he was 15-18 months old, but he weighed a measley 19 pounds and his toenails had curled under into his pads. CBHR took him in and fixed him up real good!

Dudley Dawg definately has made a place in our family and hearts over the last 12 months. I started volunteering for the rescue where we got Dudley. Carolina Basset Hound Rescue - www.cbhr.com - and have come into contact with dozen of great basset people and hounds.

Our Christmas suprise this year? Our family is giving Dudley a brother!! "Titus" came into rescue severly underweight and with mange. He still needs to be neutered, so it may be after Christmas that we get him. We are thinking of new names and buying extra supplies.

Dear Santa,

Thank you so much for the dog!! We were so surprised. You mustve thought me and Hanna were very good. Hanna says thank you too, but she is only 2 and cant write to you but I am 6. Dudley is such a cool dog. My Grandma and Grandpa have a basset hound too! His name is Homer. Did you know that?

Mommy told me the story about Dudleys first life - how he had a owner that didnt love him enough and Dudley was very sad so he ran away from home. Then one of your Elfs found him and took him to the North Pole where some of the Elfs took care of him.

Thank you Santa and thank you Elfs for taking such good care of Dudley and bringing him to us. I promise that we will give him lots of love and take real good care of him so he will never want to leave us. Dudley has a big brown bed in our kitchen and a bowl for food and one for water and a whole box of toys just for him. Sometimes he takes our stuffed animals too when we leave them on the floor. And sometimes CharlieCat eats Dudleys food. Daddy said he will turn into a dog if he eats too much of it. I think Daddy is kidding. Dudley likes CharlieCat and wants to play with him, but CharlieCat hisses at Dudley a lot. Mommy and Dudley sing together too, and that is funny. Mommy takes Dudley for 3 walks every day and sometimes I get to play with Dudley in the back yard when he is on his lead.

We are taking good care of Dudley and we love him alot. I think he likes it here.

PS: if we are real good again this year, can you bring Dudley a fiend? Mommy said no way, but maybe you can just bring one.

I have arrived at my Forever Home! My slaves are very good to me. I have my very own bed and a box full of toys just fur me. My first slaves were not nice to me at all, and I got so skinny from being hungry after I was on my own. I am so happy that I do not have to worry ever again about when my bowl will be filled again.
