Sweet, gentle, family dog. Loves quiet time with family, loves walks with family. Just had 8 puppies, surprise! Getting more energy now. Hate baths, don't mind brushings. Still a little calm for my breed, but willing to learn tricks and play. Still getting to know my new family of 6 weeks.

Great mom, a little anxious about my new babies

Well my eight new babies are always hungry, I never seem to get more than two to sleep at a time. I barely leave long enough to eat and drink, so I'm still a bit thin, and I rarely am willing to leave them long enough to pee. BOL.
Human mom seems to think I'm a great mom too, but she was almost crying when she found out I had the pups in my human boy's bed. BOL. I am a little freaked when she checks on the pups. Not agressive just very interested. I'll try to grab them and put them back in the nest, but usually mom is done with them before I manage that. I like them all together, no photos please.
I guess she'll have to wait a while longer to find out how many boys and how many girls. She doesn't seem to want to excite me,but she's been pretty concerned about the pups and me since it looked like I was still nursing pups when she rescued me from the street 5 or 6 weeks ago, when my old owner went away, but maybe when we go to the vet for a check up he'll put our minds to rest. I was only with my last owners for a few weeks total.
I like it when she sits with me and the pups, and I smile and tell her so. I miss hanging in the living room with the family, but my pups need me.

Well, back to my precious pups.

New home

Had several homes in a row, no one was stable enough for a large red pregnant dog, so once puppies were on the way ... so was I. Now I am settled with a woman, her two human sons, 15 and 4, two siamese cats : 5 and 3, 1 bearded dragon: 4 1/2 and a curious dog : half pit bull half chihuahua: not quite a year yet. I have taken over the second bedroom and bed. The boy I share it with is nice, feeds me delicacies when mom isn't looking. Now I can stop looking for my last puppies, because I have 8 new ones. My nose is always curious though, something smells interesting just around the corner.
