Birthday: January 5th 2000 Arrival Story: We got her from a rescue a few years ago. She had lived her life in a puppy mill. She has always been very timid and shy and loved to just cuddle. Bio: Dori went to the Bridge very unexpectedly. While the other dogs were out in the backyard Dori was curled up warm on the couch or in her basket, not sure which, since it was kinda chilly that evening. I was at work and my hubby was getting ready to go on vacation so he was going in and out of the house to put stuff in his truck. The nearest we can figure is that Dori, who really didn't like being alone, must have gotten up and walked out the front door looking for the other dogs or my hubby. From there we don't know what happened or how she ended up where she was found. A neighbor found her broken little body about two blocks from our house. He was kind enough to take the time to bury her in a field near our houses. He finally managed to tell me a few days ago. Our job schedules kept us from talking. I thanked him for burying her for me since I would never have been able to do it. The Groups I'm In: Dogster Dog Blog Bark Out, ~ Dachshunds Forever ~ I've Been On Dogster Since:
